AEV Wheels

Im looking at running some AEV wheels and 35s on my jk. My question is are they tucked in more then lets say some soft 8s or xds?? I never seen a good front picture but it looks like they are. Anyone care to add to this?? Any pics?

I like the choice of Jeep center caps instead of the yellow ones.

You need to compare the offset of the AEV wheels to the others. But generally, the AEVs will be tucked in more. They run a +10mm offset and most others are -10mm. Thus they will stick out 20 mm more than the AEvs on each side.

Let me start out by saying I'm an AEV fan. Now let me bash them a bit.

The AEV Pintlers have a weak point - the so-called "valve stem protector". Your TPMS (assuming you have an 2008+ vehicle) will stick out like this:

See how they stick out? First rock or stump you come close to, they'll look like this:

Bummer. However, there's a fix. When you have your tires installed, make sure they band the TPMS inside the tire. Discount Tire did mine like this:

Then you can put in a shorty rubber valve stem like this:

Problem solved! Rugged wheels AND good looks!
