Has anyone installed the AFE CAI? Need opinions, I just bought one and want to here opinions before it's too late. I got the Stage 2 for $200. Worth it?

"Worth it?"

How about a picture of it first?

No, but I'm still trying to decide what I want.

Put it on, see how it works. If you don't like it, you can always take it back off (if you haven't destroyed the rest of your stock intake during removal).

Thumbs up Afe

I have the stage two. I gained 3.5 - 4 MPG highway with my 33's and got easily 15 more horses. With this mod alone I get over 330 miles a tank.
Put it on (15 min. install), you'll dig it.
I do blow it out after all days of wheelin' and with my oil change. Its amazing what you get back everytime you clean it.

What you get when you clean it??? As in your power back, very little dirt, or very clean inside? 15 HP..did you dyno or does it just feel like it?

Pardon me, but that claim seems to be a bit on the high side for a stand alone CAI. How was this verified?

No I didn't Dyno it. Its a guess on horses. AFE claims up to 19 HP... I guess I'm giving them the benifit of the doudbt (Sorry for the confusion, but i'll stand by my earlier statement) Noticable torque increase when I put it on also.
I did get a noticable amount of power back the three times I cleaned it. Vegas is dusty this time of year and the last couple of runs I went on had 12 & 16 vehicles so the thing is caked with dust at the end of the day.
As far as MPG... I have been calculating mileage with my GPS and doing math at the pump when I fill up.
