afe high tuck exhaust
Is it worth getting it even though I don't have a cold air intake.I have a kn drop in filter only.so do you feel the difference .08 jku lift tires armor. Is it loud thanks
I think I like that over getting a skid plate for your muffler. Or just wheel with the stock one once you bang a hole in it or tear it. It will give you an excuse or reason to get it.
I'm going to wheel my stock muffler until it gets ripped off or wont pass inspection.
Then I'm going to look at my options for getting more clearance.. They have to make mufflers that take up less space then the stock huge monster muffler.

You don't get much of anything is performance gains with any Jk aftermarket exhaust. Any gain felt are minimal or in your head.
I've run two exhausts besides my stock and neither did anything other than give me better clearance. The dynomax rock crawler which uses a muffler mounted under drivers/passenger seat. And the dynomax super turbo which uses the stock location but is maybe 30% smaller. See attached. Lots of smaller mufflers out there. They are all loud though.

Yeah...what the pic doesn't show is the completely wrecked tailpipe. I crushed it so many times and pried it back open so many times I just gave up. Problem right now is my dynomax super turbo muffler I'm trying has two tailpipes. This should be fun. When I ran the rock crawler, I chopped it right over the rear axle so it dumped underneath. Better for wheeling, not better for passing inspection.

When you break stuff it makes you feel like your pushing the limits of your rig. Or.... dam I shouldn't have done that....
