I got this package while i was home on leave. Not sure how much more HP it gave but I can feel a definite increase in power when hitting the gas. As for the increase of MPG's (the MPG display was at 10 city and 12 highway before installing this, now showing 13.9 city and 16.4 Highway). As for the sound i am very pleased with it. Has a deep sound but is not too loud. You can carry on a conversation or listen to radio with out being drowned out by the exhaust noise. I did install it myself and it is extremely easy to do (just followed the directions that came with it). Took me about an hour to install the air intake, a few minutes to install the throttle body spacer and about 2 hours to install the cat back exhaust. The hardest thing to do was remove the stock exhaust. Mine was pretty rusted out so I just cut it off about half way up the pipe and it came right out. My wife actually ordered it for me as I am currently stationed in Iraq and did the work while home on R&R, she said the people at aFe are extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. I hope this helps in your decision and good luck whatever you choose.

Is the sound level comment topless, soft or hard top? I am topless as much as possible. I like a quiet jeep but would like the bump in hp and torque to add to what my superchip added and would give up a little quiet for a little hp/torque. Just don't want resonance and drone. I like to hear the radio and have conversation, even topless. Comments from those that actually have the AFE performance package (CAI & spacer & high tuck exhaust ) would be most appreciated.

Any input in the high tuck? Installing the stage 2 and spacer this weekend. Interested in this exhaust as well. Not interested in a shiny tip sticking out.

Finally got everything installed. Got the intake from Quadratec and the spacer second hand. The spacer had the wrong bolts with it so I had to get the correct ones.

I'm very pleased with my choice. I was looking at the Airaid and liked the enclosed of the aFe. Seems a little peppier on the interstate.

Before the spacer I didn't notice any whistle. After the spacer there us a whistle at a specific throttle position. It does have a nice sound while cruising and really sound good when you get on the throttle.
