Default after market lockers for rubi?

hi all, was just wondering if anyone knew of any companies such as OX or ARB making after market lockers for the rubi axles. seeing as the stock rubi lockers are prone to electrical and sensor problems.

Is that both front and rear? Haven't seen anything for the fronts yet. OX is under new management and looks like they're a bit more into R&D than they used to be. I'm hoping they'll have one out by the time I trash the stock locker.

Isn't there a mod here somewhere that'll allow you to bypass the system?

Any of the aftermarket lockers or LSDs will fit. The only difference is in the JK's ring gear bolt holes. The aftermarket lockers for the non JK D44 have to be drilled out to the JK size. Other than that, they are a bolt in swap.

I was told by my gear supplier that the front axle uses standard Dana 44 Diff's but the rear was the weird oneHope he's right

I Believe its the rear spline count.

Is that both front and rear? I was told by a builder that the front housing was totally different than the previous front D44's and they couldn't even figure out how to machine the housing to fit an OX or ARB.

in order to run another locker they would have to be the same spline count. stock jk d44's are 30 spline rubicons are 32 spline i believe. i hope they make a 35 spline upgrade kit for the rubicon axle's

There is no locker available for the front Rubicon housing it has nothig to do with spline count it has to do with bearing ID's and such. I will tell you we are working very closely with ARB and should have something in the next 3-4 months.

You can bypass the relays, and reswitch your lockers so you can engage front or rear in any x-fer case setting (4-hi, 2-hi, or 4 lo). I did. Just some wires and switches and you can have either locker anytime you want it. Just search these boards
