I was just wondering if there were any aftermarket soft tops that don't require the door surrounds. I'd rather have a full soft top not a bikini top. Thanks for any help you can provide!

 

the door surrounds seal the top to the door, so anything without them wouldn't be weather tight. at least that's my take.

 

Yeah, door surrounds are required for all soft tops.

 

I was just wondering if there was something less evident. The TJ I have has small rods as it has the Bestop Supertop so it doesn't need the plastic door surrounds. I was wondering if there was something like that for the JK. Oh well, it was all just theoretical anyway as I currently have no money
