I have the trail grapplers but I wouldn't suggest them for what the OP is looking for, they're very heavy and my gas mileage went to the floor when I put mine on

I love my Goodyear MTR K's, they seem to get a lot of bad press on the forums but they are light, super aggressive, and they relatively quiet on road and amazing off road.

I was dead set on Trail Grapplers until I saw weight specs. Great looking tire though.

Yeh, I went with em cuz I seem to have bad luck with tires a lot, so I wanted to get the toughest I could afford

BFG AT or Goodyear Duratrac assuming you want an AT.

If MT, go with the GY MTR (what I have) or BFG MT

You could just shop around for a set of Rubi tires. Lots of people sell them new and cheap because they slap on taller tires as soon as they buy the Jeep.

I just picked up 5 at a local dealer off a 2012 that were brand new for a good price, they had put a lift and tall tires on a Rubi off the lot.

I think they are a good tire, these will be my second set.

With a MT tire, you will likely lose a little MPG, and the ride is a little different.
