What drives people do be jerks about searching for stuff?! Man, that makes me mad - a lot of times, your search will yield something from '07-'08...guess what, it's been two years and someone may have come up with a better solution, and may not have discussed said solution until he saw someone was curious. It's not the end of the world that people are asking questions - I thought Jeepers were supposed to be open, friendly, and willing to answer questions - if you're not, don't read the post. My .02.

I agree. That's what the forum is all about.

Default Air Horns

I agree about the smart A%# comments for searching. Sorry I don’t want to spend all my time looking through three year old post, I’d rather go in the garage and work on my Jeep! I have had jeeps my whole life and this is diffidently not what they meant by “it’s a Jeep thing you wouldn’t understand!”

As for the air horns here is what you need .hornblasters.com/video.php[/url]

With a grinder and some sweat I bet you could make one for about ten bucks.

Some people have mounted tanks underneath their rigs. I believe cpray on here has one mounted underneath his with a custom skid over it.

You are right about the air pump making more noise but for 10 bucks I had to try it. Ill run with it for a while until i can get a better setup.

Default Get one of these

I have one of these on my motorcycle and one on my Jeep. Small and loud. I didn't remove the stock horn, and have the Stebel wired through a fuse block that only gets power when the ignition is on, so that I can hit the remote to lock the Jeep without the airhorn blasting away. So when I'm driving and press on the horn, I get the stock horn and air horn - sounds kind of cool.
