I run the AEM Brute force and a MBRP standard exit system. The AEM stays clean and has an effective heatshield that blocks water from hitting the filter from the drive belts. The MBRP is nice and semi-aggressive. It is perfect for a daily driver who wants some power and a nice deep tone without being obnoxious.

It's because you guys seem to have really stepped up and produce what appears to be the best system out there for the JK. It also helps how involved you are with the forum and getting feedback from and through members. I know one of my next mods will be an MBRP exhaust.

Thanks for your support!

(Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread, but I have the FlashPaq and am thinking about intake/exhaust, too).

Not on your list but I had a local shop install a 2.5" Flowmaster 40-series and replace the stock pipe up through the clearance dimple. They tucked it up so you can't see anything from the rear and it cost $150 out the door. I was worried about it being loud but I actually wish I could hear it a little more. I saw right at 1 MPG increase and a little better performance (measured by my butt). I had a CAI but couldn't tell much difference besides the noise and the filter kept getting mud on it so I put the stock setup back on to keep water out of the engine. The Flashpaq has been the best performance upgrade to date.

First, you are going to get a million different opinions and combinations to your intake/exhaust question but as Robar says you need a programmer added to the mix to gain the full benefits.

I have an MBRP standard exit in black. The muffler is already peeling, it's only a couple weeks old, from being sprayed with a hose, but it's got a nice mellow sound that I wanted for daily driving and I have two small kids. AEM Brute Force also, it's great but whistles a bit which annoys some.
