You can use a tank, many actual just use CO2 for this. Once you are out of air you are out of lockers

You should check out the ARB compressor, it has a mount available for under the hood and you can then refill your tires when wheeling on trails without air available.

I have seen them mounted under the jeep, in the engine bay next to the brake cylinder, and a cool spot it inside and behind you rear tail lights. Tons of cool places.

A guy here cut out the back of the housing for the stoplight mounted over the spare wheel & installed a compressor in there.

ARB compressor mounted under the hood for me.

You can definitely run it off a CO2 tank. I wouldn't use just a regular air tank. They only store air at around 150 psi, so there's not that much in the tank.

co2 sounds like the way to go, how many oz should the tank be?

im picking up a 2011 2 door flame red sport today at around 5, ill have to post some pics.
although it has the BLD (Brake Lock Diff) system, it would be nice to upgrade when my funds are back up.
