1. im coming from a turbo car and the whistle doesnt bother me, i kinda like it. Which has a louder sound??

These were the only two I considered, I didn't find there to be a huge advantage with either after researching it, so I went with the better deal, which was the Airaid. Got it for $225 w/ free throttle body spacer, which I immediately sold for $70 on eBay.

i bought the AEM Brute Force Intake. supposed to come in tomorrow, along with my 2.5 BB

i chose the AEM over AIRAID b/c of the filter. the dry-flow filter wont leave risidual oil/gunk on the throttle body and all attached sensors.

this is what happened to my Honda when AEM sold intakes with filters that needed to be sprayed with oil.

Why bring back old threads, oh well...
AEM makes me have flashbacks of hondas, coming from a standpoint of never driving with an AEM or Airraid dont listen to me.

Better to do a search and resurrect an old thread than create a new thread asking the same old questions.

I have the AEM in my JK and the spousal unit has a AFE. Both do what they are supposed to do and sound good doing it.

Installed my polished AEM today. I also chose the AEM over the others due to not having to deal with oiling the filter. I got mine for $197 on ebay:
