Default AirAid Question

I just witnessed my friend hydro lock his old cherokee by getting a little to much water in his air filter, at the time i was thinking of getting the airaid replacement intake. Is this a good or bad idea?

if you're planning to forde water that is higher than your hood, then you need a snorkel anyway.

As long as the water is still below the hood, you should be fine, since the airraid filter is located at the same location as stock air box

Volant just came out with their air intake. I'm pretty sure they're working on snorkel right now
