Default Airbag & LOD bumpers

I'm going to be buying the front and rear LOD bumpers but I was wondering how these will effect my airbag sensors. If this has already been posted I appologize and could you please link. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure the airbags work off a gyro sensor, they do not connect to your bumpers in anyway. So, no , it(bumpers) will not affect your airbags.

it wont. there are NO sensors in the bumper, they are located elsewhere.

the only thing in the stock bumper is a "crush can" that is roughly the size of a good sized soup can welded to the steel insert of the stock bumper, on the front of the frame rails. (the stock tow hooks are horseshoe shaped to fit around this can) the cans serve to somewhat dampen the impact to the frame in the event of a hit, but there are NO electrical sensors of any sort in the bumper.

bumpers and air bags

Front bumpers, air bag compatible??

etc.

search for air bag sensor or crush can, you'll get a lot of reading material.
