Default Airbags

I'm getting ready to replace my stock front seats with Corbeau seats. The stock seats have side airbags. Once the stock seats are removed, will the passenger front airbag still operate in an accident? Obviously the Corbeau seats don't have all the sensors the stock seats have, but does that effect the front airbag?

to my knowledge, it will cause the passenger side airbag to cease functioning as the sensors for it are in the bottom portion of the passenger seat as well.

If anyone has more info, i would love to hear it. I passed on a set of mstercrafts once already because i wont do anything to disable the airbags.

I didn't see anything on the Mastercraft site that said anything about the under seat sensor. Where'd you get that info?

you see the two silver boxes between the seat and seat rails? those are your air bag sensors and as you can see, they are still present with the mastercraft seat. i have personally talked to them about this and can assure you that your front airbags will still work with their seats.

well, if you have side impact airbags, i'm still not sure if you can use them as i believe none of your airbags will work if the side ones are disconnected.

How do you like the mastercraft seats? Are they more comfortable than the stock? Is the seat area between the bolsters wider?
