Question Alarm questions

Ok

So when i got my rubicon I had them put in the alarm they usually use.

Ive noticed there is a small button with a green light on the underside of the dash close to the drivers side door. Anyone have any idea what this button does?

Secondly, I am looking to get an alarm that actually sends me notification like a txt or cell call or something. Anyone have any experience with a good alarm?

Default alarm

Compustar makes a very advanced system if you want a 2way starter and alarm system built in. proximity sensors waring chirps etc. I have the 2 way remote start and it works up to a mile away. there is an add on you can get that will sned text messages to your e-mail or phone if you alarm is triggered

Vipor has a high end system $600-700.00 that has a GOOD pager up to ONE Mile. Rated the Best in the industy. They also have an additional module that will page you and will call a iphone if the alarm sounds. 1-2 hour installation time.
