Default Aligning after lifted

Anyone have problems getting alignments from local tire shops after lifting? Just curious since some folks are going with adjustable arms and some are going with cam bolts. Also, if you get an economy lift and plan on adding arms within say a 2-3 month period, would you even worry about an alignment until it's all said and done? Thanks!

You could always get the lifetime alignment and take it back whenever. Thinking about doing that. Its around $140 or so a Firestone.

With an economy lift, there's no real reason to have an alignment done. Just recenter the steering wheel. I have never seen the real point of having one done with adjustable arms either if the Jeep's going to be taken off road. I always just measured to make sure both arms are the same length and test drove it until it felt good. Toe-in can be measured and adjusted also. Serious rock crawling will screw up your alignment anyhow.

Thanks! I've decided to order the Black Diamond 3" lift, 3/4" spacers, and steering stabilizer for now and will be adding arms around the beginning of summer. I haven't decided on wheels/tires yet but I'll probably see what the local shops have to offer first.
