Default Alignment?

I'm picking up a set of 33's this afternoon to upgrade my stock sport wheels. I'm not touching the suspension at all. Do I need an alignment since the jeep is gonna be sittin higher and the wheels are wider?

Nope. It may feel a bit different because of the bigger tires, but no alignment is needed.

I just did that and lost about 10% on fuel economy, it also feels a little less power ( i have a 2dr 6 speed) someone told me i should regear the differencial to adjust the new wheel diameter. This will bring me the power back but loose more fuel efficiency, so , i will leave it as it is.

You will have to adjust your steering, wheels will rubb the sway bar a bit. its easy, look for the write up on JK project in this website.

Yeah I was just really curious about alignment. I'm fine in terms of gearing. Didn't feel like it lost much of anything with the 33's. I do get a strange wheel vibration it seems like at 60 mph. Might be out of balance.

Yep sounds out of balance. Have them rebalance them. My 35's smooth at all speeds

No your alignment should be OK, if your Jeep starts to wander check your caster.....maybe you need adjustable upper control arms

It does wander a little bit and and the steering wheel is a smidgen off. It starts at 60mph and as soon as your drop below that it goes away. I haven't pushed it past 60 to see if it will go away.

And I'll get some pictures up soon. Ran out of daylight.
