Alignment Done.....camber way off
Hey guys,
My 13 wrangler only has 3500 miles on it now.
About 800 miles ago I had a 2.5 RC suspension lift put on and the 33 Mickey Thompson MTX front and rear. About 400 miles ago added the quick discos and the AEV brackets.
Anyways...these are the results of the alignment done by the dealership
L Toe - 0.11
R Toe - 0.10
L Caster - 5.0
R Caster - 5.5
L Front Camber - positive 2.6
R Front Camber - negative 3.6
Any suggestions on the camber. They saw nothing wrong with the vehicle BTW

well dealership said to swing back in, but I am starting to wonder if their machine is off. These numbers are nuts (To me at least) and I can't see my ball joints being shot yet. I have had it off road maybe 4 times hunting so far and that is it.
Maybe its possible that your outer knuckles are bent (C's) they seem to bend pretty easy with larger tires or even hitting a pothole with the stock tires on. So maybe take a look at the C's and they aren't bent then they machine is wrong
I could see it being the Cs bent if it was just negative camber, but he has positive on one side and negative on the other.

I put my 3.5" RC lift on my 2012 backed it out of the drive way and the traction control light came on and started acting up on me. Looked around didn't see anything that looked wrong... Drove it to the alignment shop they put it on the machine and ended up having to keep it there overnight because it was so far out. They got one side dead on and the other side was 2" off. They ended up having to take one of the tie rods off and turn it in to get it close enough to get them equal. They couldn't figure out what could be making it so off. It was perfect before the lift

That is leading me to believe that either the machine is off or these numbers are just not right. I have never seen such a huge difference (positive to negative). Also a bit of paranoia that something is up but since the drop brackets, psi adjustment, and correction to toe....it drives great.
Dealership said that the camber is fine......ball joints are tight. They said the numbers are good....don't worry. I wanted a new print out but didn't get one unfortunately. I asked them if there is any chance the axle is bent and they laughed...said it is completely good.
So.....I guess my conclusion is the camber was not checked or the machine was royally off.

I installed the lift kit my self but decided to let my mechanic install the control arms as I thought it had something to do with alignment. Lets just say my mechanic doesn't know how to install control arms and the proper way is to tighten them when the truck is on the ground. I went through the same problem my self.
