Default Is Alignment Necessary?

2013 JK. I replaced my #13 front springs with #15 about 6 months ago to allow for LOD Armor Lite and M8000S winch total of about 90 additional pounds over stock. Gained 1/2" even after bumper swap (before winch)
Im adding 1/2" Terraflex spacers to allow for 1/8" sag when putting winch on. It drives great after the spring and shock swap. Is a re alignment of the front end necessary after 1/2" spacers?

BTW, I live in NYC and an alignment lasts about as long as leaving the shop.

just a lift doesnt affect your toe. should be good. it will change your castor though. So depends if you have adjustable front arms.

Unless you add components, an alignment shop can't change caster or camber. Toe is adjustable, but won't be affected. The steering wheel may be off slightly, but it is super easy and will take 5 minutes and wrench for you to do yourself.

If you need to have the numbers, just find a shop that does free alignment checks and get the printout. (then say NO when they try to up-sell you...)

Camber should never be an issue on a solid axle if it is axle is probably bend and some offset bjs are the only solution...

With that minor amount of lift an alignment shouldn't be necessary and shouldn't change things too much. Like what others mentioned without adjustable control arms there's no way to adjust for castor. Your toe shouldn't be affected much, if not any at all. Also, without an adjustable track bar you cant center your axles.

Just to give you an idea, I installed a 1.5" TF performance lift (coils) on my friends JKU. The only thing I needed to adjust was the steering wheel as it was not centered. The kit raised the front 2" and rear 1". He is running 33" tires. The jeep drives fine and doesn't wander or feel flighty. He has been running that set up for over 8 mos now, so you should be fine....

Here's a pic..

Sooo, my statement that camber 'can't be changed without adding components' was correct.

And looks like you already contradicted yourself on camber 'never being an issue', so I don't have to bother.
