I am not sure what you are talking about with tighten the nuts on the turnbuckles.

P255/75R17 tires on 17" Aluminum Rims this is what is on Jeep right now. The Jeep is stock no lift and the road I drive most of the time is a gravel mountain road but nothing real bad. Other then that I have not taken it off roading. I don’t have the numbers showing the toe-in and toe-out. I will start from now on getting a print out so I can bring it to the dealer. Right now with my last fiasco on my 07 Jeep I am not a big fan of dealers right now. Did not know if it was something I could check.

the turnbuckles are the adjustment points are at for the steering

if you look at the front of the jk follow one of the tie rods till it comes to a point where two nuts and bolts are at that the turnbuckle you loosen the nuts up to allow you to turn the turnbuckle to adjust toe in or out and on the draglink allow you to straighten your steering wheel

Just throwing in my $0.02:

I large enough on road/off road impact could knock your steering angles off. Aside from that, a common recommendation is to have your alignment checked every 6000-7500 miles or so (not necessarily DONE...just checked). I'm finished.
