Default American Racing Teflon Durable?

Does anyone have any of the ATX teflon wheels? How do they resist scratches? The teflon makes me think of the cheap frying pans that have scratches in the bottom, ensuring you a healthy dose of teflon with your eggs.

Am I wrong?

Would you buy them again?

Will they hold up to off road abuse?

I'm also curious on this one. I like the idea of the Mojave Teflons.

No personal experience but I asked at a tire shop when I was looking for wheels and they said they had a lot of problems with them scratching. Too bad cause I thought they sure would be easy to clean.

Most rims get scratched up off-road, are they any worse than one that is powdercoated black?

Maybe , but black painted cragars can be touched up with a rattle can. So can powder coat (to some extent.) Good luck trying that with Teflon.
