AEV, AEV, AEV!!!! Rides better than stock and you couldn't be happier! Gots them nice Bilstein shocks that are perfectly designed to install like shit and last approximately one year or 5k miles.

My vote goes to Metalcloak. I just finished up installing their 2.5" ARB kit w/ OME and managed to install the entire kit myself. Their customer service was top notch. I hit a few snags during the install and they were more than happy to help me out over the phone. I have no experience with any other lift kits though. I just believe in doing it right the first time, and I like the fact that the Metalcloak kit is upgradable if you don't want to start out with the full gamechanger.

Op, i really like MC's new drop bracket and overland kit on a budget, Add arms later if you choose.

Look into the old man emu setup-I'm about 60k miles and it still rides great. Northridge usually has a kit with springs, shocks and front and rear track bars.

And that fact alone is reason enough to avoid it. Not that Jeeps are known for having issues...

METALCLOAK
I like that overland kit. Utilizing the drop brackets makes them a ground clearance issue right? What are your thoughts about the overland "sport" package (utilizing my stock shocks for a bit to ease costs) vs the True Dual Rate Lift with trackbar utilizing the front uppers in lieu of the brackets? (again using my stock shocks for a bit)

Thanks

Using any drop bracket will lose ground clearance. Front uppers or lowers will work for caster. No problem i see using your stock shocks along with the extensions. Remember, MC now offers their own brand shock.. Not sure the cost though ?
Another option, Rancho 5000x which will run around $200

I'm by no means an expert, I made my decision based on how I will use my jeep and what I felt was right.

Perhaps as I gain knowledge and experience my next jeep will have xxxxx lift.

None of this changes how I feel the jeep rides from when it was stock to the way it is now, I'm happy with it logging 10,000 km on it thus far.

Ride is subjective everyone has a different sense on how the jeep rolls down the highway.

I'm always willing to keep an open mind on things....

Cheers
