Annoyed with cheap plastic center caps...
Anyone else annoyed with those cheap plastic center caps that come with expensive aftermarket rims? I have the chome Moto Metal rims and the chrome on the center caps is all bubbling up and flaking off.
So should I just take them off and leave 'em that way?
The flaking chome just drives me nuts. I'll probably buy some nice black powdercoated rims next year, maybe some Procomp 8069's or something like that. Will just have to put up with these rims for now.
I want to get my bumpers first.

Your center caps are a lot different than those that come with stock wheels. However, you should be able to repaint them just as easy. I repaint the stock center caps with great results. If you take a trip to the local auto store, take a look at "Black Chrome" wheel paint. It would likely look pretty nice with the chrome wheels.
