Another bedlining rim thread
K I started with just one rim to see if I was actually capable of doing it hahaha
1. Roughed up the surface
2. Cleaned it all of
3. Coat of primer
4. Coat of primer
5. Sanded primer coat
6. Cleaned
7. Bed lined
8. Bed lined again ( heeeeres where have a q)
I think I am going to have a little overspray from the second coat, so mad, when that's totally dried tomorrow morning, I can sand it again right and then just re coat it, the back of the can made it seem like I can't aant it but I don't see why not???
Here is a pic primed and a pic painted, will post a pic of the overspray when it is completely dried

I used 1 can of primer and 1 can (plus one wheels worth of a second can) of the bed liner, I think the primer was huuuuge, because after u give it just like 2 mins of hand sanding it gives such a smooth surface for the bed liner to bond to, and SPEND THE EXTRA 7 BUCKS for the sprayer handle attachment, waaaaay easier to spray, and make sure u get a flat black Berliner, any gloss or satin and any extra spray or "puddles" from holding it too long in one place, but I was amazed I thought I was going to have to redo then but when they finally dried (3-4 hrs) it all dried perfectly even unlike the plastidip I tried on my grill hahaha ( see below ) will be re doing it tomorrow
