Another Budget Boost Question
hey guys is anybody running the 2 inch full traction ecno lift. i tried searching but i cant get any good results. the rubicon express and this one are in the running for my jeep but i cant decide which one i want. i am gonna get shocks with either kit i get and it will be just untl my warrantry goes out and i get the 4 in kit but that is a ways down the road. thanks in advance.
Here's a thought...
Lets say you did the lift you want - NOW...and, what ever breaks, breaks...and you go to the Stealership, and say...its broken, please fix it, etc...
Either its covered, or, its not, BUT, it MIGHT be covered...especially if the broken thing has not broken because of the lift.
If on the other hand, you WAITED to get the lift you wanted...and what ever breaks, breaks...YOU WILL NOT be covered, period, as the warrenty has expired, and, you are GUARANTEED to NOT be covered.
IE: If STILL warrantied, it MIGHT be covered...if NOT still warrantied, it will NOT be covered.
Does that make sense?

Get a 4in lift now if that's what your wanting anyway. I had the REBB and it was a great kit, but..... When I got the RE kit the first thing I did was get 35's. A BB gives alittle reason for denying certain warrenty claims, bigger than max recommended tire size gives the dealer alot to work with on denying a claim. I look at it this way , if I break something related to off-roading , the lift, or my tires, and they end up covering it, GREAT! If not, I'll pay the piper and fix it myself with something that's upgraded and better. If your really worried about the warrenty, then don't mod anything, but then again they could still and do deny claims on stock vehicles. Kinda your choice no matter what. Personally I say GO BIG, GO BAD! Screw the warrenty, unless you have a mod friendly dealer where most of the workers belong to a jeep club.
To re-emphasize the main point - "The Warranty" HAS TO COVER you...as long as the covered part(s) did not fail because of (BECAUSE OF) the lift.
If the lift CAUSED the failure, then, they do not HAVE to cover you...but, many do, anyway....as its good for business, etc.

If you mod NOW, and the MOD CAUSES things to break....well, isn't it the SAME broken stuff you'd have if the SAME LIFT was installed in 2010 or whatever?

If it breaks something NOW, or it breaks something LATER....isn't it the SAME situation?
It IS the same situation....except, you might be covered by your warranty NOW, and you will NOT be covered later.

BTW - Don't get a lift that breaks things....those are a bad type.
