I am running 37" tires and am ready to upgrade my gears. I know most people with 37's are running 5.13's and 5.38's aren't quite released yet. I am interested in running 5.38's for a little extra pep.

My concern about 5.38's would be when towing. I plan on buying a small travel trailer, about 2600 lbs, and I am worried that the RPM's would be too high with the overdrive turned off. What do you think? Does anybody have an calculations for this?

On another note, does anybody know if Superior's gears for the stock D44's will work if I decide to upgrade to their Super 44 (35 spline) axles later?

Can somebody at least tell me what rpm's you are turning at 70 MPH with 5.13's and 37's with OD off?
