Default Another gear question

I have a stock x unlimited with 3.73's and I want to put 35's on it and I have'nt got an answer if I will need to regear or not? This is a daily driver and wont see alot of off roading. Do the 35's tear the gears up or is it just a slug to drive?? Thanks

Some people with manuals don't mind 35's with stock gearing. I don't recall seeing anyone with an auto that was happy with the performance.

Do you 'need' to regear? No.
Will you 'want' to regear? Yes.
(especially on the freeway when you try to pass, or try to go up a hill, or into a headwind, or if you actually want to use your OD...)
