Default Another lift thread... Sorry

My 2007 2dr JK sport has no lift. I bought it with 31.6 in Dick Cepek fun country tires. I don't have the money for all new bigger tires but I still want a lift. I was looking on my local craigslist and someone was selling shocks and springs off their rubicon and 1" coil spacers. I was wondering if this would do much to my Jeep or if it would look funky with an extra 2in of lift. I'm wondering what would you do? Any feedback and advice helps.

What part #s on those coil springs? I just installed 17/58 coils and Rubi shocks on my JK. I don't know how much lift I've got as I didn't take the measurements prior but now my JK sits level and I got rid of the factory rake. I say coils and spacers would be too much if you're not getting larger tires.

Look at Jk Rubies. After all what you plan to buy comes from a Rubie. And your rubber is similar as stock on a Rubie. Better ask yourself what your long term plans are. If low cost mod to appear not stock is what your after suggest: one inch front puck spacer & 1.5" wheel spacers. (If your wheels have stock backspace)

Anyone have an idea on what I should do. Would like more ground clearance without making it look weird with the 31.6 in tires

Portal axels. Larger tires are the only other way to get more clearance under the diffs. Lifts will increase break over/ approach/ departure angles but your pumpkin clearance stays the same.

Thinking about the teraflex "jk 1.5 leveling kit..........hmm. It says it comes with a 2 in front spacer and 1 inch rear spacer, why is that?

It gets rid of the rake in the front and makes it "level bumper to bumper." Makes your jeep look like it is not nose diving.

The only way to get ground clearance is to increase your tire size. The axle is the lowest part of the jeep. I ran 2" spacers on 35's. It filled the fender well. I doubt it would look horrible with a 2" or less BB.

Jack your Jeep up 1" and 2" by the frame and see what it looks like. If you like the look go for it, if not keep it the way it is. It is as simple as that.
