I just heard SCT is working on a programmer for our timid 3.8. From what I understand, beta testing should be by the second quarter of this year with a possible release this summer. It is to include shift point mods. I have not used SCT products personally, but I have seen some serious boosts on Ford products. Anyone have any experience with SCT?

I would be totally on board if SCT came on board with a performance chip for our 3.8L. A few of my friends have the SCT performance chips in there Cummin's Turbo Diesels and they throw out the power and no issues with the chip itself. I know the SCT diesels chips are stackable.....wonder if that will be an option for the 3.8?

SCT=best programmers on the market!! Before the jk..i had an 02 mustang gt...that thing was user friendly and serious performance gains..everything from fuel/air ratios, speedo calib, engine fan speeds, shift points(i had a manual tho) etc..anyways long story short i gained 37hp..18tq on a N/A tune and 52 hp 33tq on my nitrous app(these gains were on a heavily modded engine tho)...more fuel equals more power!

I'll be the third to vote for SCT... I've had diesels and SCT ROCKS for those... hopefully they can do similar customizations for the 3.8. They are great guys up there.
