Default Another question

I just ordered a 3 inch teraflex lift earlier today, and now it am picking my rims and tires. I think i am going with 18 rockstars and mud grapplers. The only problem is that I dont know rather to get the 35 or the 37. I have the rubicon, so i dont think i have to worry about breaking anything if i stick with mild wheeling. Also i dont think that i am going to re-gear. Any sugestions or thoughts?

My guess, you would be a lot happier with 35's on stock gears than with 37's. But...

Do a few quick searches and see how many people you can find that are happy with the jk's power on stock gears with 35's and then with 37's.
Then check the chart in the drivetrain faq to get an idea of your rpm's with those sizes.
Then look at all the suggestions for a total strength upgrade on the front end with sleeves/truss/alloys/gussets/etc. when going to bigger tires.

Base the decision on just how unlikely it is that you will regear.

yeah, i just found that kmc makes a 17 inch spy wheel that is 9 inches wide, so i will probably go with that. Also, i was thinking of getting a RC 1.25 body lift, but i am not sure how bad the gap would look because i have stubby bumpers.

Rockstars are cool(but expensive).....just lose the centercaps or paint them.

I'd go with 35s, they'll just drive better. Down the road if you are comfortable with 35s and think 37s would work upgrade, you'll get the thrill of upgrading twice.
