Another Shock Question?
I decided to go with the Teraflex leaveling kit and want to put some new shocks on since i have it torn apart. Plus i think my X shocks are bad anyways. I was looking at getting either Pro Comp 9000's or Rough Countrys. Which is a better one and which type of shock is better, Hydro or Nitro? I'm on a tight budget and don't want to pay more then 40-50 bucks for each.
both are old school hydro shocks and honestly, for your purposes, i wouldn't get either. if i were you, i'd ask around in the wanted section for a set of rubicon shocks. if i still had a set, i would just give them to you. rubicon shocks are high pressure nitro and will offer a much better ride than what you have now or either of the shocks you listed.
ok just talked to my brother in law and he has a set of bilstein 4600's for the rear...does anyone know if you can run the 4600's up front with the teraflex leveleling kit or do I need a longer shock?
