Default And Antoher Superchips Question

This is probably a stupid question but I'm going to ask anyway....

Should I download the updates off their website every so often and re-tune my Jeep even though my current tune is working good?

I'm kind of an "if it ain't broke don't fix it" kinda guy, so I stuck with my original tune since the day I installed mine.

The only time I did an update was after I flashed it back to stock to get the "hot oil" recall update done. After getting it back from the dealer, I got home, went to re-install the Superchips & it would not load. On the tuner it instructed me to go and update. So I updated it.

I really don't see any reason to in any other case.

I've never updated mine either in the couple years I've had it. Was afraid to after some guys started having pinging issues. So far so good...

I update mine once a month just to make sure I am getting the most out of the tune. I read that they are constantly tweaking things to get the most out our tiny engines. I guess I just don't want to miss out on something.

According to SuperChips, they will email you when there is an update.
