Default Any concerns with running 35's on a 30 front????

I have an 09 jk x that I'm currently running 305/70-16's on, its about time to get new tires and really wanna move up to 35's. Wondering if anyone knows of any mods that may help out the stock 30 up front. keep in mind this is a DD and primarily street driven, wheeled every once in awhile unfortunately, haha. Any input would be great, thanks!

U will probably need to get sleeves and gussets for the front axle. You can get them from offroadevolution.com. you will also need someone to weld them on for you unless u can weld. Then u can.go wheeling as long as Ur not heavy on the throttle while rock crawling. Then u can buy aftermarket axle shafts from superior,g2, ten factory, or alloy. Down the road u can save up and get a prorock 44 from dynatrac or even the prorock 60

Just get some gussets and start saving for something better. I wouldn't invest a lot of money in a D30

Well I always ran it and off-roaded with it and never had any issues!

I agree with Ryan, get the gussets maybe sleeves but don't put a lot of cash into it if it won't hold up with sleeves and gussets you will need a stronger axle if holds up the 30 is all you need and run with it.

I only did c-gussets for peace of mind. I don't think sleeves are necessary at all for this size. Lots of people run it as is without issues.

It depends on how you use the skinny pedal!

just gussets, I didn't do sleeves and a truss until I went to 37's. That's it, if it blows then it's new axle time anything else spent on it is a waste of money.
