Default any programmers at all for 2011?

Does anyone at all make a programmer or chip for the 2011 that works? I know the procal works but im talking about for performance.

Well Jet responded back to me with this....


We already do. Our part number 90910 will work on your 2011 3.8L JK.

So how have they figured it out but noone else has?????

The release of this product for the Jeep does not appear to be associated with the 2011 models. Once ready, they will release it for all the other models and let the 2011's catch up if/when they can crack the code for the ecu.

I keep hearing it will be out soon. Does anyone actually have a firm date on when any of companys will have one out?

There is no confirmed date, as nobody can crack the encryption. (or more accurately, nobody has managed to find the encryption keys)

If the rumor I have read online is true (rolling random keys), long story short they won't get cracked. If the keys are static (buried in the ECU somewhere), they'll eventually be cracked, but depending on how many it could still take a long time. At least the 2011 guys can find a 2010 ECU and it should just work. However the 2012+ folks will have a much harder time.

I think it's really sad that we are still waiting for updates on the 2011's and now we have to wait for the 2012's as well. I wonder if these companies are in dire straights due to this??
