Default Any reason this combo shouldn't work?

I want to run this by others before making all the purchases to ensure I am correct in thinking this combo will work.

I'm going to lift my 2011 JKUR with the AEV 2.5 lift, and I want tires near 35". I found that Mamba are making wheels again, and I really like the stock look of the Moab's on the JK, but I need them to fit near 35" tires without spacers. The wheels I found are these, specs are 16 x 8 with 4.7" backspacing:

Mamba Offroad Alloys MR1X687306 - Mamba Offroad Type MR1X Wheel for 07-14 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK in 16x8" Size with 4.7" Backspacing - Quadratec

Tires I'm going to run are 315/75/16 BFGoodrich AT's. Specs on those are 34.6" tall.

In the details for the wheels, it states you might need spacers to run larger than stock tires. This doesn't seem like it would be needed. Am I correct in thinking there shouldn't be any issues running this combo?

You might rub a little at full turn, but not major. You could just adjust steering stops

I have 17" with 4.75" back spaced method race wheels and 35/12.5 toyos. Only rubbed at full steer on the aftermarket lower control arms. Only modification if any would be steering stops as stated.

Sounds good, thanks for the replies. Do either of you have issues with rubbing when you are disconnected?

And if you rub on the plastic skid, just find a nice rock to drive over. If you rub on the ends of the bumper, chop em off. If you rub a fender flare and don't want to chop, add more bumpstop.

Running MB72's that are 8.5" wide with a BS of 4.5-4.7 (they list offset only, the bs number varies depending on which calc I use). No issues with 295/75/16's. Disconnected with no bumpstop, I rubbed the 315/75/16's on the stock flares, but no contact with components. Now have 325/80/16's with no component contact at full lock and no flare contact while connected. Have not disconnected and flexed yet, waiting to install some bumpstops.

Disregard my flare contact comments, I have more lift than you.

May be a typo but you want 16x8 wheels and 17" tires. Think you just clicked the wrong link they do make the 17x8 with same backspacing. This should work good for you though. Post pics when you got them.

Front bumper is already cut as a stubby, and the front plastic skid was gone the first weekend I had it. I want to upgrade to the Mopar front bumper eventually... hope that will fit.

I corrected my post, thanks, they are 315/75/16 I want
