Default Any reason not to get an ARB twin? - CKMTA12

I've been looking to get OBA as my portable is getting to the end of its life pretty quick.

I was looking at adding a dual Viair 450c with 2.5 gallon tank but the output is 3.28 CFM.... Plus I have no idea where I am going to mount it, I have the Pentastar so it can't go under the hood, putting a drawer system in the back so not really much space there, doesn't fit under the seats. Kinda stuck with it.

The ARB is also has constant duty but puts out 6.16 CFM... 2.88 CFM more then the dual viair's.

Besides cost, I don't see any benefit with going anything but the ARB?

Anyone disagree?

I'm in a similar dilemma, I bought a Viair 450p and a couple of months later I added arb lockers and an arb compressor

I don't know the arb model number but it's one step above the base one, it has on take off for external air, but I keep wondering if the dual arb would be much faster...

My arb fits under the hood. The viair won't?

The dual ARB is 7" wider than the two smaller versions. I'm sure it could be squeezed under the hood somewhere, but not as easily as the other two. I think the viair has roughly the same dimensions as the arb dual.

My trouble is I already have a winch box mounted and aux. relay/fuse box mounted under the hood.

So space is really not available for this size of unit.

Yep, carolina metal masters (or something similar) makes the mount. I am making my own as it was a crazy amount for a cut piece of flat metal. Mounting it under the passenger seat though as that one does.

Vlad, I have the Twin ARB and I say BUY IT! You'll not regret it. It is too bad your winch control and fusion reactor are located where they are, that is where my ARB Twin sits, on the MORE mount. Have you considered fabbing a bracket and placing it behind either the left or right side of the ARB front bumper?
