Any recommendations on replacement spider gears (i.e. OEM or aftermarket?)
I see OEM Jeep kits for $370 but after market kits like Yukon, Spicer, and Omix selling for $108. Looks like the Jeep OEMs are pretty delicate but much more expensive. Any advice on what I should buy?

I usually recommend Spicer for replacement spider gears, also as noted above a TruTrac is a great traction aid to the Dana30.

Yes thought heavily about a dedicated locker but with the amount of miles I drive and the fact that I drive all winter in snow (and when off roading it's mostly rocks), I decided against it.
Also, I did find out that the Yukon spider gears will not fit in the stock Jeep carrier.
