Default Any thoughts on this tire?

Still searching for tires and saving money. Then I came across these. For my daily driver and every now and then camping trips. I cant wait for my damn stock Wrangler St tires to DIE! I have only rotated them ONCE!!!! and they still have a lot of life left. Current miles = 26,000.
Any way back to the tire these are it: four-wheeler.com/techarticles/wheels/129_0805_hankook_dynapro_atm_rf10_tire_test/index.html (remove the dash between four and wheeler) If link does no work they are The Hankook Dynapro ATm RF10.
Any thoughts? They look ok for a daily driver with now and then camping trips no?

A few employees at my work run these Hancook dyna pro AT tires...they get unbelievable wear!!!! Some guys have gotten over 100K km's on a set of 4 on their pickups and that's a big mix of pavement and Forest Service roads. They have pretty good traction in snow & mud!!!

I have seen these in tire stores and they don't look too bad unless you want to do mud or rocks. They are not as aggressive as the BFG AT but about the same as a Nitto Terra Grappler.

Ya, well I am torn between these and the Cooper Discoverer ST (not the STT).
The Coopers look cool but its tread pattern looks as though it would wear more than the Hankooks. I dont know once these damn stock tires die I'll make a decision.
Thanks.

I was torn between the same two tires. Then I looked at the Goodyear Duratracs and it was all over with.

I have to agree about the Duratracs. Don't go by what you see on the web because it just doesn't do them justice. These tires are massive and just look mean as hell. Do yourself a favor and check them out in person. As for me, I'm going insane waiting for my Duratracs to arrive.

Duratracs! Running them in the ice and snow of central British Columbia, and they have been very grippy. I am staying in 2wd most of the time on the totally ice-covered pavement with no problems. Starting and stopping have been fine. They are comparable, maybe even slightly better than the dedicated winter ice radials on my wife's Patriot. Definitely deserving of the severe winter snowflake symbol.

When I go into deeper snow they bite right in. Keeping them aired up at 32 lbs each.

These Hankook's are a long wearing tire which many consider good for mild off road usage.
Although I am sure someone here will claim they climbed the rock of Gibraltar covered in sleet in reverse with these tires.
I have seen them for sale at Sears, so that should tell you how general purpose they are. They are also priced very competitively, so if they offer the performance you need, they are a good value.

Long tire wire means its a hard rubber compound which will provide a bit less adhesio to the asphalt and rocks. That is the usual compromise.
