Running BDS suspensions. If you are what are your thoughts about it. Ride (on and offroad)/quality of parts...etc. Still scratching my head at what lift i should i get. Im looking at the BDS 4.5" kit, it comes with
4.5 in Front Coil Kit
4.5 in Rear Coil Kit
Front Hydraulic Shock Absorber
Rear Shock Absorber
Lower Front Adj Arms/Fixed Upper Control Arms
Rear Lower Fixed Control Arms/adj upper Control Arms
Steering Stabilizer
Bump stop extensions
Front extended sway bar links
Rear solid sway bar links
pitman arm
Front and rear track bar relocation brackets (I'll buy new Adj trackbars front/rear)
brake line relocation

at $1560 doesnt seem like a bad deal. I have no experience with bds so that is why i'm asking the question. Thoughts?

I have an RE long arm system on my 01 TJ.

I run a TF setup on my JK.

So, I have personal experience with BDS, JKS, TF, & RE products. My preference is for the JKS, TF, & RE products.

To answer your question, if you don't mind the lack of adjustment refinement due to fixed arms, I'd run the RE 3.5" Superflex instead of the BDS for about the same price. Otherwise, I'd go with the 4" TF kits.

I'd like to try a Currie or Clayton kit someday.

Keep in mind that a slightly more expensive system may be less expensive over time because you don't buy parts only later to replace them--effectively paying twice.
Yeah i was looking at the RE kit also and the TF kit. Just wanted to see what opinions people had about the bds kit. Thanks for the info.
