Anybody have Cooper STT's?
Looking at some in a 37x12.50x17. They have them for $276 installed. Not bad for that size.
Has anybody here ran these before? Better yet, anybody running them on a JK?

Yep, in 35x13.5x20. I paid in the neighborhood of $350 so that sounds like a great price.
I was worried about noise on the road, but I can barely hear them. They look great too, imho. With about 6k on them, no complaints about the tires. The big footprint did highlight the "dartiness" caused by the budget boost though so I would strongly recommend a lift that gets your castor angle right.
Oh also, they're hard as freakin' rocks if you're installer puts 39 psi in them like mine did.

33 x 12.50/17 on my Rubicon, like the others said, they are good tires. They seem to appear slightly wider looking than others. I have been entirely happy with them as street AND off road tires. That price you quote is great.

When they were made is important - initially, the STT's used a harder, longer wearing compound, that slipped on rocks, but was great elsewhere....
....then, they softened the rubber compounding, and the grip on rocks improved dramatically...but they wore faster.
One friend with the new compound went from 19/32" tread to 11/32" tread in 16K miles. If you extrapolate from that, you can see that the tire will be useless for offroad work in the ~ 30K range.
As most MT's don't do much better than that, and some only last 20 K or so...its not abnormal....but if you drive a lot of miles/yr, do the math and see if renting rubber at that rates works for you.

As far as traction and flotation, they are great...and the sidewalls seem to hold up well too.

Hey Mr T
did you get your tires online or locally here in nj? I'm looking at getting 35's in same tire....now if I just just decide what lift to get
