Default anyone else having issues with this?

I have the warn front bumpers front and rear and the coating on them sucks. On the edges the black coating, whatever it is is rubbing off way too easy and the cut one if the cut-out "W" logos almost looks like like its rusting from the inside out. I dont live within 500 miles of a beach so its not salt damage. Am I the only one and do I have a case for a replacement from Warn, the bumpers are only 4 months old

Why don't you just paint over the rust spots with some rust inhibiting paint? You could also sand and/or scrub the spot first.

I've always assumed rust would show up here and there on my Jeep - especially after wheeling. I bought several cans of semi-gloss black rustoleum-type spray paint and apply as needed.

I though about just painting over it but it seems like the bumper is corroding from the inside, plus these arent cheap bumpers Id like to not have to cover a problem the company should have already done right.

i had the same problems with my tj warn bumpers, and the finish sucked after about a year.

i bought a front hanson ent bumper and a warn rear at the same time. there was a night and day differnece between the two after a year. i dont think i would buy a warn bumper again.
