Default Anyone have 15" Procomp alloys?

Just as a last minute sanity check before ordering wheels, does anyone run 15x8" Procomp alloy wheels with 3.75" backspacing? I have searched all morning trying to find an exact answer, but no luck. I saw some procomp and cragar steelies in 15x8 that work on many posts, Eagle alloys with 3.25" BS that work, and MT classic IIs that work, but it seems that no one has posted about procomps in the exact size that I'm looking at.

Anyone have experience with the 15" procomps? Hopefully, everything will work out and I can order these things this afternoon...

Thanks!

Can't run 15's on a JK....brakes are larger in dia than a TJ was. 16's to 18's are all unless you want 20's and lots o bling

Alot of people running 15's. Check your facts.

On a side note, one 15" may have a problem while another one may not. Find someone that is already running what you want. Or at least try the wheel on before you have the tires mounted. Once they are mounted, you can't return them.

You know, I don't mean to be a buzzkill in here but I've asked the exact same question and can't get past the neh sayers either......so I'm having one pro comp 15 inch 97 Rockcrawler shipped in and I will test and report back next week. I'm hoping that it does since it's a great low cost solution for moving to the 33's I have sitting in my garage dying to make it onto my JK. I've seen countless pictures and have seen some pictures in the Show and Tell thread of some Pro Comp's so I'm pretty convinced it will work. However, I'm finding there's not much help in here if it's outside the norm. If you do it before, please post up the results.

You are wrong. With 3.75" backspacing, you are fine.

I agree with you 100%. I am feeling quite optimistic (which has bitten me before ), so I ordered the wheels (Procomp 8179) last week. Hopefully I will know if they work by next Friday. My hesitation is that I have seen Procomp steelies, and various 15" alloys, but never 15" Procomp alloys on a JK. Time will tell.

*fingers crossed*

You are fine, there are a lot of people running 15's and procomps leave about 1/4" space.

Did this pan out?

I'm wishy washing between cragars, 97's, and rubicon takeoffs. The 97's have slightly less backspacing than the cragars so I'm hoping they'd stick out slightly more (I like that look)

Gotta give FR this one....he is right. From what I remember reading ,anything with 4" of backspacing or less should be fine with a 15.
