i heard one on a jk on youtube and was wondering if anyone of here had one so i could see which model to get

 

Had one on mine, sounded too ricer so I changed to a flowmaster super 44.

 

is a super 44 loud or what im trying to find a quiet one

 

I don't think it is loud at all.
I hear it, I think it could be louder and it would suit me better!

 

I have a flow 40 series and it fit in the stock location took about 15 mins to torch off the factory one and weld the new one up, its smaller then the factory one so it fits nicely without any of that nasty exposed look from the factory. it fits entirely in the stock cutout, so if you do catch it on a rock then you would've torn something up anyway.

oh and the 40 is extremely quiet, my job requires 12+ hours of driving office to office (38k in less then a year), and its peaceful enough that i can use my phone with hard or soft tops on.

 

I have one in my YJ. It is loud. Its just about as close to a straite pipe as you can get and still remain legal in many states.

That was not the one I was thinking about, but I am sure any cherry bomb is going to be loud.

 

Which one are you interested in? They make several different styles and types all of which have different sounds and noise levels?

I am leaning towards the Super 44 myself.

 

Cherry bomb makes a crap lode of mufflers.... I would assume you mean the glass packs? Glass packs as a hole are prity much straight piping it. Although the longer the glass pack the quieter it will be by quieter its still loud as hell. One bad thing is over time the fider glass gets burnt out and it gets a bad sound to it. I used to have them on my 67 nova.. they wart cherry bombs but perpal horny same thing though.
