Default Anyone have to do a PCM reflash?

Hi,

Wanted to find out on this forum how many folks had to... drag their rigs in to get a PCM reflash?

I've read a few but can't seem to find them after re-searching... always my luck.

I had to replace the ppm on my JKU. Are you having issues or just looking to flash for gears or tire size?

Just took mine in for service and was informed of a new flash. I run a traildash and programmed it back to stock prior to the reflash. Now the traildash didn't recognize the new program, and I can't get superchips to reply after two emails this week.

On a sidebar can't help but notice your a Duc fan. I fly two myself.

I haven't had mine reflashed, but I need to. Apparently when you replace parts like the ABS system the computer doesn't recognize them as the correct parts and says they are mismatched and the PCM will need a reflash to get them working again. Figures we can't do these things ourselves without expensive equipment....

One thing I found is that every dealer is different with their prices. One dealer quoted me $125 for a PCM reflash. Another quoted me however long it takes them to actually get it to take, meaning the hourly cost and said it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. Another said they don't do them at all unless it's a update from the factory.

Kind of weird how they're all different.
