I was thinking of getting them but wanted to know how well they work? If you did something yourself I would like to see some pictures.

I was thinking of skateboard tape? I think it would be a cheaper and more durable alternative

Ive seen the skateboard tape done, it looked awesome, they did a custom carve in the tape to make the jeep logo

This stuff looks pretty interesting as well....slip tape..Probably much more durable then anything made for the sill panel.

i have the jeep door sills as well. they're great. the fit is perfect, they're extremely durable, apply easily, and they cover everything. i wouldn't consider anything else since it's not going to be perfectly molded to fit the lip of the door sill.

I put the Jeep sill gaurds on as soon as I got my 2007 Jk, the have worked great.

I too put them on before I even drove it off the lot. I have seen how much wear the sill gets when you don't protect it. Get it you won't regret it.

i dont no if u cross deep water but i think some one that has it said it can cuase the door seal not the sill to leak in more water compared to something else like spray on bed liner

I have them and love them. Have em on both jeeps. Would definitely do again without a second thought.
