I have the TMD hood and love it. Much more sturdy than the old Jeep hood which would bend and flex at the car wash. The stock center hood latch and spring are eliminated but the factory side latches are more than adequate.

So you didn't use the hood latch? Also, where did you connect the ground wire that attached to the back of the hood?

I will have to take a look. I had a body shop do the instal. They did walk me through everything they did and point everything out. I am trying to upload pic's but am having a little trouble.

After double checking I see that it was attached to the top bolt of the battery box on the firewall. I assume this was only done to keep it from flopping around.
