I have a friend that has an older YJ that has this bumper http://www.quadratec.com/products/12052_3XX_PG.htm and I really like it. It looks alot like this ebay one. I just am really worried I will not be happy once I get it.
I think you still have to get the bumper to attach this to. That is an attachment for their main bumper system.

Honestly, if money is the issue..do a stock stubby with the cover on or take the cover off and cut the metal underneath. I think its a pretty good look for next to nothing and will look better then the bumper you picked. But.......just my opion. do what ya like!

Have you considered making one and saving some cash? If you like the tube look, it should be pretty straightforward and cheap.

I really have thought about this. I am a cad designer for an aluminum extrusion company so i can get aluminum tube/pipe for free...I am in the process of making some tube doors. But I am not sure once I get into the mounting of the bumper. i have never pulled it off.
