Anyone Paint there muffler?
I did mine today. However I made the mistake of using regular rustoleum auto paint and not the high temp paint. Did I just F up the muffler? The can says to not apply it to areas that will reach over 200 degrees F. Should I take off the muffler and sand off the paint or will it just peel off on it's on? Any issues with driving it like this?

I did my stock exhaust with 1200 degree bbq paint and it lasted a year until I replaced it with my mbrp. My mbrp was sprayed black with 500 degree engine paint and it all burned off within 3 months.
Did mine with BBQ paint. I left it mounted, took a wire brush to it to get the rust off. Cleaned it with soapy water then gave it 3 coats. Holding up rather well, have to see what the salt does to it this winter.
