Default Anyone replaced their drag link yet?

Rock Krawler and at least one other company has a replacement available. Has anyone changed theirs? Any clearance issues? How about ease of adjustment?

Thanks,
js.

I have the RE , it flips the rod end to the top of the spindle. Its way heavduty and doesnt have the bend that "gets the bends". I dont have any clearance issues.

I hadn't even seen the RE one yet! Excellent!

How's the adjustment?

I guess you're also using a bracket to raise the trackbar mounting location? Which one did you go with? I'm still undecided...

Thanks!

I just spoke with Currie Enterprises and was told that they are working on both an HD drag link and tie-rod now. They should be available soon and I will be sure to keep you up to date on them. And, being that they are made by Currie, you know they will be top notch products and as tough as they come!!

I already had the Superlift track bar so I went with the RE drop bracket, they seem to co-inside well together. The adjustment is very easy, the tube has flats so you can use a wrench to hold it while tightening the jam nuts.

Thanks Eddie! Any idea if this will be a 'high steer' (aka flipped rod end) drag link?

I figure if I'm going to change mine, it might as well be a high steer kit. The only downside I can see is that you also have to raise the trackbar mount to avoid bump steer...

I don't think anyone is doing a flipped tie-rod, but that would sure be nice too. :-)

Yes. I'd like the flipped tie-rod to get it a little out of harms way. What is the benefit of the high steer system with a flipped drag link?

We are working on both HD tie rod and drag link. Our HD drag link will work either on top or factory location. The HD tie rod will only work on the factory location (from the bottom), due to clearance issues. Not enough room on the knuckle between the tie rod arm and the drag link arm.

I'll post pictures soon!!!!
