Not to mention that the lack of sidewalls would increase the potential for the walls to pop/puncture easy. I had a buddy with 45 series tires and everytime he hit a pothole he bent a rim or punctured a tire...........good point you made.

TE=Military Jeeper;16994]I'm with you guys with regards to 20's but to each their own...............
Let's cut the guy some slack..............let's try to keep the forum family like and fun. This is a nice forum to visit and we don't have the basher's that you get on Pirate and JU so if you all can, let's try to keep it peaceful and just offer the guy help, regardless if he goes the opposite direction that you would go.
OK ....I'm sorry I used the word "Poser". I am ashamed.........................................

Not sure if your post was sarcastic or not but irregardless............this is where people come to ask questions and get answers. Just because we don't agree with someone's choice doesn't mean we need to give them the death penalty.

Well, I'm not yet...but...
The wheels should be in next week. We are doing 20x10 wheels with 37x13.50 tires. The tires look pretty wild.
I've got another rig with 37" tires on a 17" wheel. The problem is that when I air way down, the tire will roll so I am driving on the sidewall on steep sidehills. That makes the tire more vulnerable to damage and can mean the difference between hitting a tree with the top and not. On the road, it should help the steering response stay closer to stock.
So far this is just speculation, but it seems like all the other comments are too. I'm excited to see the real world results.
